124+ leads generated for a UK plumbing business

Grand Union is a plumbing contractor based in Milton Keynes, in the UK. They offer a wide range plumbing and heating services to customers in their local area. Since setting the company up, Director Mitch had always found new business through recommendations and lead buying services like Bark.

Business was steady and Grand Union was turning a decent profit, but Mitch knew that if the company was to expand, he would need to increase the number of customers he had on his books. To make this possible he needed to start generating his own leads.

It was Mitch’s friend Shaun who recommended Digitool to him. Sean had been working with us to generate leads for his own business. He was very happily with the results, and felt we could give Mitch the boost in leads he needed.

The Solution

On a zoom call, our onboarding manager Wes explained to Mitch how we could help Grand Union increase their booking and customer numbers. He gave detailed estimates on the costs and number of leads Mitch could expect. He also broke down how this would differ between general plumbing and boiler leads.

Mitch was happy with the estimates and he signed-up. We got to work creating the ad campaigns and landing pages that would be needed. Our team have lots of know-how with marketing plumbing companies, so we already knew all the keywords, copy and targeting we would use. Because of this we were able to start sending Mitch new plumbing leads in less than 10 working days.

The Results

So far we have generated 124+ leads for Grand Union. They’ve been able to book in a wide range of new jobs. These include leaks, pipe repairs, faulty boiler repairs, and new boilers installs. The total ad spend has been £1588, with an average cost per lead of just £12.80 (Thats way below the industry standard £25 per lead).

Because each new job introduces Grand Union to a new customer, Mitch has been able to gain more business

in the form of boiler service plans, and recommendations. With his growing customer base, and the added revenue he’s made, Mitch is very happy. He’s now looking to hire new employees and grow his van fleet, and so in the near future, he plans to expand his service area.
